The mid of Winter season(observed in most part of India) brings the Last month of the year with the excitement of Christmas gift and the new year. Following are the holidays of December 2018.
December 22, 2018 (Tuesday) – Shortest Day of the Year.
December 25, 2018 (Friday) – Christmas. The Christian gathers at church and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ in a big and organised way. Feast and events are organised along with the gathering and worship at the church.
December 31, 2018 (Thursday) – Celebration of 31st December and welcoming of New year 2019.

Kumbhalgarh Festival (Rajasthan) exhibiting folk arts, puppet show, puppey making etc. Konark festival (Odisha) incorporate varieties of folk dances like kathak, chau, bharatnatyam, etc along with exhibition of arts, crafts, temple scluptures and sand arts. Also, International Sand art festival is organised during same time in Konark beaches.
Hornbill festival of Nagaland, Pushkar festival of Pushkar (Rajasthan), Feast of Francis Xavier (Old Goa), KarthigaiDeepam (Tamil Naidu), Times Litfest (Bandra Mumbai), a month long fest of Mamallapuram Indian Dance Festival (Chennai), Shilpgram Art and Craft Fair (Udaipur) are some festivals and events organised in December and are most popular in their regions.
